On behalf of scientific and organizing committee, we are pleased to invite you to participate in World Resources Forum 2012 (WRF 2012), which will be held at the China National Convention Center from Oct. 21 to 23, 2012 in Beijing, China (http://www.wrf12.org). The Forum is hosted by Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) and the Swiss Academy of Engineering Sciences (SATW), and co-organized by Institute of Process Engineering (IPE), CAS and Swiss Federal Laboratories for Materials Testing and Research (EMPA). WRF 2012 will provide a platform to discuss and disseminate the latest developments in science, technology, economic, political and environmental implications of global resource use, which aims to promote the innovation for resource productivity and utilization by building bridges among researchers, policymakers, business, NGO’s and the public.

WRF 2012 will include plenary lectures, oral presentations, poster presentations and related exhibitions. According the request of attendees, the deadline for abstract submission has been extended to May 31, 2012.
